Method

Why do two Vastu consultants give different answers?

They often follow different schools. The 8-direction school uses 8 directions of 45 degrees; the 16-zone school uses 16 zones of 22.5 degrees, and the two read some placements differently. A North that is off by a few degrees also changes the zone.

Can Vastu be checked from a floor plan online?

Yes, for room placement. Mark the outline, verify North, tag the rooms, and each room's zone is read under both schools. Surroundings and plot are reviewed by a consultant.

How is the Vastu score calculated?

Each school starts at 100. Every avoid reading subtracts 4 points for each point of its severity, from 1 to 5. The combined score is the weighted average of the 2 schools.

Does the check use astrology or birth details?

No. The score uses only the floor plan and North.

Is a flat certified as Vastu compliant by any authority?

No body in India certifies a flat as Vastu compliant. The label on a brochure is the builder's own claim. Ask which school it follows and check the plan.
