Vastu for a 3 BHK flat: what to check
A 3 BHK flat gives you two choices a smaller flat does not: which bedroom is the master and which becomes a study or children's room. Make those choices by zone, then check every toilet. With three toilets, the chance that one falls in a zone both schools avoid is higher.
These rules are a draft rule set, pending review by our consultants. Treat them as a guide, not a verdict.
What to check in a 3 BHK flat
- The master bedroom. Good zones are SW, S, WSW, W under the 16-zone school and SW, S, W under the 8-direction school.
- The second and third bedrooms. Good bedroom zones are S, W, WSW, NW, E, NNW under the 16-zone school and W, NW, E, S under the 8-direction school. A room in a zone the schools avoid for sleep can be a study instead: good study zones are WSW, NE, E, W under the 16-zone school and NE, E, N, W under the 8-direction school.
- Every toilet. The schools avoid toilets in NE, N, NNE, Centre, SW, SE, E, W, S under the 16-zone school and NE, Centre, SW, N, E under the 8-direction school. A 3 BHK often has one common toilet near the living room. Check it as carefully as the attached ones.
- The kitchen and the main door. Good kitchen zones are SE, SSE, S, W, NW under the 16-zone school and SE, NW under the 8-direction school. Good main door zones are N, NNE, NE, E under the 16-zone school and N, NE, E under the 8-direction school.
- A pooja room. A 3 BHK sometimes has a separate pooja room. Good zones are NE, ENE, E, W under the 16-zone school and NE, E, N under the 8-direction school. Avoid a wall shared with a toilet.
